The return of the sheep bag project bag
Guess what! I’m about to list some slots for made to order sheep project bags in my Etsy shop. I know, how exciting!!
Its been a long time coming, but now that I have completed my waiting list for these oh so popular project bags, and have had a little sewing break, I wanted you to be the first to know the good news.
If you’ve not met a sheep bag before let me tell you a little bit about them. Firstly they are huge! They comfortably hold a large craft project (think blanket or jumper) and feature a stunning sheep print from British artist Wendy Darker. Inside are a number of pockets to store notions, needles, minis (of the yarn variety! It’s big but not that big!) etc and a clasp to hold stitch markers and scissors. The bag is fully lined and interfaced for stability.
I will be adding a small number of made to order slots for the sheep bags on a regular basis and will advise in the listing whether these are zipper or drawstring varieties.
If you miss out on one listing please keep an eye on my Etsy shop as there will be sure to be another chance to grab one of these bags coming along shortly.
Now for the bad news. As the sheep bags have developed since their first incarnation, and as some of the materials I use have increased in cost, I will be increasing the cost of the bags ever so slightly to £48 a bag. I’m sorry, I don’t raise my prices very often and I don’t like to do it, but sometimes it’s a necessity.
I will be adding the listing to my Etsy shop today (Sunday 7th July) and as regularly as I can thereafter. So if you have been keen to purchase a sheep bag, keep your eyes peeled.
As always, thank you for supporting my small business adventure, it means the world to me.
